The Olibob Arts Foundation were incredibly honoured this month to receive a £500 Donation from the Loddon Valley Lions (the group of the Lions Club International that supports the local area) to support our local youth theatre projects.
Two of our trustees, Sue and Simon, had to bid for the monies in the form of a “Dragons Dens” event where we had to give a 10-minute presentation to a panel of 4 people, with no slides, on the purpose and expected benefits of the request.
This is the second such donation from the Lions, and we are so grateful.
