The Olibob Arts Foundation

The Olibob Arts Foundation was created in 2021 as a legacy to Oli Williams to help young people to develop key life skills in the same way that they helped Oli grow into the confident, inclusive, and articulate young man he became.

We achieved Charity Status in January 2023 and the trustees are working hard at fund raising and in identifying projects that will show the greatest benefits for young people.

We help young people gain life skills through the performing arts by:

  1. Providing grants or bursaries for drama or theatre projects in England and Wales.
  2. Providing “Olibob Awards” in recognition of young people aged 13-21 who have demonstrated personal growth from drama or music groups, and shown inclusiveness, kindness, care, and support of others.

We have been working in collaboration with other trusts and charities to support some key projects, to ensure that we are benefitting young people most in need. Our grants to date have included:

• 2021 – Theatre Project for two Schools impacted most by the Grenfell Disaster

• 2022 – Theatre project for a School in Port Talbot most impacted by recent de-industrialization

• 2023 – Several bursaries to fund year-long drama school places with the Corn Exchange Trust in Newbury

Your kind donations and support will help us to fund projects over the coming years.
