Sue Williams, the Chair of Trustees of The Olibob Arts Foundation was extremely proud to receive a £500 cheque from Basingstoke Camera Club at their inaugural meeting of the 23-24 season in September. The presentation was made by Mr Stewart Lacey, the clubs Membership Secretary.

This is the second donation we've received from this photography club.  Sue also gave a presentation to the club members about the goals of the Foundation and the impact we've already made on so many young people in partnership with other theatre charities and drama schools.

We were so pleased that several members of the club gave us messages of support for the work we're doing.

Basingstoke Camera Club is the third biggest club in the south of the UK, and makes significant donations to local charities from some of the profits of the National photography competition it runs each year.  Two of the Foundation Trustees are keen photographers and members of the club, so it is a great honour for the Foundation to be recognised for the work it does.  More information on the club can be found at www.basingstokecameraclub.co.uk
